Justin Proffitt

Peer Support Specialist

Justin Proffitt is currently serving as a Peer Support Specialist for Veterans Services of the Carolinas in their Transitions to Community Living program in partnership with VAYA Health. Justin served in the US Army for 4 years in the infantry with the 501st in Alaska. Before working with the Veteran Services of the Carolinas, he owned a window cleaning business and volunteered labor for various not-for-profit missions providing construction services for Veterans in difficult life circumstances. He has worked many different jobs throughout the past 10 years and has an Associate’s degree in arts from Haywood Community College.
