Jessica Rice is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Housing for Veterans Services of the Carolinas. She has vast training in customer service, is able to identify needs, clarify information, and approach solutions. Her prior experience with solving and managing problems as well as high call volumes is an asset to NCServes-Western. Mrs. Rice has completed the Veteran Support Specialist training along with certification. As an NCStrive Co-Chair Jessica helps coordinate events who educate faculty and staff of colleges and universities in Western North Carolina to better service veterans.

Jessica serves as an integral team member of Buncombe County Veteran Treatment Court (VTC). She acts as liaison to VTC enrollees seeking services through NCServes-Western and is certified as a Veteran Support Specialist. Jessica is also a board member of Blue Ridge Veterans Community Partnership (BRVCP) wherein she discusses community partnership and veteran engagement. While her husband was deployed in 2010, she served as an adviser and mentor to spouses and families of Marines who were currently serving.
