NCServes

NCServes is the first and only statewide coordinated care network in North Carolina created specifically for Veterans, service members, and their families. It connects individuals to a trusted network of providers offering support across critical areas like housing, employment, benefits, mental health, legal assistance, and more, all through one single point of entry.
Veterans Services of the Carolinas (VSC) proudly operates the NCServes Coordination Center. This central hub ensures that no Veteran falls through the cracks by managing referrals, tracking outcomes, and streamlining access to care.
What Services Are Offered?
Through NCServes, individuals may be connected to providers that specialize in:
- Housing and utilities support
- Employment and job training
- Education and financial assistance
- Health care (mental and physical)
- Food security and clothing
- Household goods and furniture
- Legal support and VA benefits

Who Is Eligible?
Active duty members, National Guard, Reservists, Veterans, and their families who live in North Carolina are all eligible for support. Regardless of branch, era, age, or discharge status, NCServes works to ensure that anyone who has worn the uniform receives the care they need. While not all services are available to every individual, our Care Coordinators work closely with each person to find the best local resources.
Why It Matters
Together, our network is transforming how military and Veteran families access care. By using shared technology and analyzing statewide data, we can better understand:
- Who is requesting services
- What types of support are most needed
- Which services are available
- How quickly needs are being met
- And most importantly—what impact the support has on each person’s life
NCServes exists to ensure no one navigates the journey alone. With compassion, coordination, and community, we help those who served build strong, stable futures.
